Reading a Book in Balcony

Where it all began....

It all began after the pandemic.  We had students who were not emotionally regulated, not motivated to do work, extraordinarily irritable and distracted, and expecting everything to be handed to them.  We realized we had to work on social-emotional learning to get them back on track.  We decided to dive deep into Casel-5 and see how we could create something better, a more meaningful and engaging curriculum that could be embedded into ELA. We also came up with the 4 Pillars that would be the foundational concepts for our program; emotional intelligence, empathy, growth mindset, and gratitude.  Children need to be taught to regulate their emotions, connect better with their peers, and find resilience and opportunities in their learning.  They also needed to kick entitlement out and look for ways to override the negativity bias.  When we started creating and incorporating these lessons,  we realized that we were not taught these skills as children.  Then the AHA moment came; WE need to be practicing these skills just as much as we need to teach them to the next generation! And the 4 Pillar Mindset was born.  We wrote the book to help anyone who is stressed, or going through burnout, oppression, or trauma.  This is for all the people masking their true feelings, staying on the surface with others or living a life tortured by anxiety, depression, perfectionism or people-pleasing. The 4 Pillar Mindset is a way to transform with inner peace, authenticity, growth and gratitude.

We would love to invite you to read our book, where we build the background, go in depth on each pillar, explain how they are significant to our wellness, AND INSPIRE YOU TO TRANSFORM WITH THIS MINDSET.

When we brought these 4 concepts; emotional intelligence, empathy, gratitude, and growth mindset, to the forefront of our minds, we transformed the way we teach, parent, lead, love, and connect with others.  It became transformative for the way we LIVE!

Now, it's your turn.  We would love to hear your feedback and testimonials so we can add them to the book!
